Niqabi Beauty Size:70cm x 100cm (28'' x 40'') Mixed Media (colored pencil andResiding in Saudi Arabia, I was inspired by the beauty of the women living in the Gulf Region. In particular the tradition of face covering (niqabs) is rich with beaded and embroidered fabrics. The covering of faces, all but the eyes sent this message: "Do not judge me, look at me, or consider me a body object. But I will give you this: MY EYES. They are the windows to my Soul." This direct gaze asks to be accorded the highest definition of what it
