my mom's garden 🙃 She has these massive mulch flower beds around her property and every time I visit in the summer one of the first things I do is head outside with all her available vases and make seemingly endless flower arrangements for her home

I shot the reference photo for this painting during a water taxi ride back to the Toronto harbour front after my first trip to the Toronto Islands in June 2022. To say I had an amazing day touring the islands and lounging on the beach is an understatement, I can't wait to return!
