I kept trying, but things did not look all that great. Then the whale came. It flowed so easily and when I was done I was a bit amazed. I still am when I look at this image. When drawing or painting, I so often have the feeling of being connected to something else. It was definitely the case with this piece. I can't help but see the humpback whale flying its way
