Created by Michael Molloy and later managed by Daniel E. Williams, whose initials (D. E. W.) are part of the brand's name, Tullamore D. E. W. is produced from a blend of three types of whiskey: malt, grain, and single pot still whiskey. Matured in a combination of ex bourbon barrels and ex sherry butts. Bottled at 43%.
