From my earliest paintings over twenty years ago, I've been fascinated by the unspoken dialogue between storefront mannequins and passersby. It was somewhat amusing to me when I caught this woman posing for a selfie. For the first time in one of my storefront themed paintings, here was an individual with her back literally turned to the mannequins, yet still engaged with them all courtesy of her
