The Whiting & Davis label inside has a patent number 78124 which dates to 1929

They were stained a dark color

but nothing too noticeable or detracting

This system works very well on the newer semi autos that we have tried it with

Original Military Krug italian The Whiting & Davis labelOriginal WWI or pre WWI era military krug which features an actual picture of a soldier as opposed to printed or painted artwork. I am not familiar with the uniform worn in the photo. It has straight sides and rather tame Victorian artwork in the base. All signs point to original, not a post WWII reproduction. It could use a cleaning but the condition is rather good.
