METHOCEL® A4C, Food Grade Methylcellulose all grilled or sautéedMethocel A4C is "A" grade strong gelling, low viscosity refined methylcellulose. Cold hot soluble, thermoreversible gel. Acts as a general thickener and stabilizer for foods and beverages. Essential for hot ice cream recipe, hot instant noodles, binding matrix foods, oil reduction, hot cling for sauces, pre dusts and batters. It forms a firm gel at 122 131F (50 55C). Yields viscosity of 400 cP at low addition level.
