It buttons down the front with hooks and eyes (need to be resewn as the stitching is coming loose) and a tie at the waist

the latch is broken and it doesn't stay closed

These are the exact same pattern and weave as the "standard" issued Wehrmacht sock just without the size rings (see comparison photos)

A little discolored from age but unused

There is very very light staining under the arms and on the neck (it doesn't show much)
