Victorian British Army Oxfordshire Militia Officer Belt Buckle J&Co Merit A rare and original officer'sAn original and rare officer's dress belt buckle of the Oxfordshire Militia. Circa 1855 1881. A two piece ornate locket buckle. 89 mm width. Silver plated alloy. Separately applied "VR" cypher. Each part stamped "2". The maker mark J&Co features. About 80% of the silver plate finish remains, other surface marks. Very good condition.
