Yvon Clerget Pommard 1er cru 'Les Rugiens' 2023 750ml Size:Each Delicate herbal notes evoke the30% whole bunch vinification, 20% new wood. A medium deep purple. The nose is immediately compelling with the notes of blood orange mixing in with the red berries. Rugiens= red soil=iron oxide = blood orange. This is an exceptionally complete wine, the tannins being fully folded in to the beguiling fruit. Very nicely done. Very persistent.
