Issued to those with combatants service papers. 30 mm width, bronze construction. Full body Liberte` (la Republique) in combat regalia. Signed Georges Lemaire. The back inscribed "Aux Defenseurs de la Patrie." Dated 1870 1871. Very minor contact marks. Nice deep patina. Original ribbon with pin mount.
