The inside sole measures a little more than 10 1/2" long and is a little more than 3 1/2" wide around the ball of the foot

I believe handmade

Vintage 1940s black wool felt hat with netting

but still a great original piece and it would not have been out of the question for a soldier to bring this with him to the front

Lot of 4 USN Navy Wife Hankies artillery This rayon dress has extraLot of 4 vintage 1940s WWII sweetheart hankies. All say Wife U. S. Navy on them. Handkerchiefs are in fair condition. They all show some wear. The red one has staining. The pink one was more of an off white but one side is pink (probably dye from the red hankie leeching in). The blue one has light fading and staining. The yellow one has some pink dye bleed as well and a small hole. They all have imprint of the US Navy anchor design on them (probably
