Chateau Lynch-Bages, Pauillac 2020 Touraine saw temperatures topping 40℃In 1973 Jean Michel Cazes took over the estate and it is currently run by his son, Jean Charles. Historically the chateau was established in 1749, under the ownership of Irishman, Thomas Lynch. In the 1855 Bordeaux Wine Classification it was designated a fifth (5me) growth. The 90Ha of vines are located on a gravel ridge of well drained soils overlooking the Gironde estuary near the town of Pauillac. Soils are composed of deep gravel over limestone.
