Georgian Garnet Trilogy Ring mid century presumed Chinese silver marksGorgeous Georgian garnet trilogy ring dating from the late 18th century, circa 1780. The principal stone, a purplish red almandine garnet, is set over foil to bring out the colour with dramatic flashes as it moves in the light, and it's flanked by a pair of glistening rose cut diamonds. They're set in silver 'pie crust' mounts, and a simple double groove design gives definition to the 15ct gold band. Era: Georgian, circa 1780 Ring size: L or 5. 75 US.
