Makenge Basket 23 Each pot tells the storyMakenge baskets are hand woven in Zambia from boiled roots of the Makenge bush and naturally coloured with plant dyes. The baskets are extremely hard wearing as the roots allow for higher coil to be woven. As part of our vintage collection, this basket has been designed with unique, soulful details and carefully restored with stunning artisanal techniques using traditional methods.
