Didn’t have a strong composition planned…luckily a flock of cormorants lifted out of the Flats & passed through the scene

I got to pop out the underwater camera setup (purchased last year) for the very first time

I walk into promising habitat searching for owls & see anything but

but as soon as we exited I-77

and that beautiful glowing green beacon
