I didn't have far to hike to reach the west end of the park where there was an abundance of wildflowers along with a mist in front of the box elder trees that line the banks of Eakin Creek West

I thought looked in great condition and compositionally eye appealing

The forecast this June morning was to be mostly clear with some clouds

which was the west side and a beautiful sunrise to photograph

I notice a patch of goldenrod plants with a monarch butterfly perched atop one of the plants
