To help me balance out the exposure of this scene I used a 2 stop neutral density filter

I focused on the individual wildflowers that were close to the trail

Penstemon wildflowers are numerous during the spring and summer months at Wildflower Park

I had been photographing the common loons for a few days and on this particular morning I was hoping one or two of the loons would come closer to the banks of the lake then they had the previous days
