now known as Garsdale was such a case at Alfred Sutton

this one has an Ivorine plate fitted STAFF BANOCKBURN

Here we have a superb example of a Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway Tyers permissive block indicator complete with its cast brass plate GLASSHOUGHTON WEST

which had come in to operation of the 1st July 1944
