It came to us exactly like this from a good, retiring dealer around 15 years ago but looking at it now we can't say that it started out life exactly as is. The main body of the ring is dead right for early Georgian and is testing as high carat gold, the skull is encased under a thin piece of glass we'd prefer this to be a sliver of rock crystal and its likely that
