box elder and peachleaf willow are frozen in almost an inch of ice with the river moving quickly along avoiding most of the freezing except along the banks at Wildflower Park

This is from the snow storm we had last week

Upwards of 1500 canada geese can be seen on their migration north at Wildflower Lake and along the South Fork Kishwaukee River as this individual flies overhead continuing on to its breeding grounds

we have been having cool misty mornings which these kind of sunrises can be very dramatic
