On the nose, the wine has notes of ripe dark cherry, blackberry, black plum, orange rind with clove, blueberry preserve, violets, and forest notes. On the palate the wine has ripe and juicy dark fruit, it is full bodied with substantial yet ripe tannin and a long finish.
