it was probably less than a mile from our house & the homeowner was extremely gracious

Woke a little late but had to get to an overlook for sunrise with clouds forecast the rest of our stay

'NEOWISE' Potomac River This is the resulting two-shotComet NEOWISE rising just to the east of Headlands Beach State Park lighthouse at 4: 30, this AM. Also visible in the dawn sky, this morning Venus, Saturn, Jupiter, and a nearly full moon. Though, sleep could be considered a close second, I can't think of many *other* ways to spend a beautifully clear & still summer pre dawn.
