MONSOON | Green Navy & red and floral motifsMonsoon was created in collaboration with Kevin Aspaas, a Din weaver, fiber artist, shepherd, and farmer based in Shiprock, New Mexico, on the Navajo Nation. Woven in the United States from a rich wool and cotton blend, this heavyweight horizontal mirror stripe fabric incorporates traditional Native American symbols of mountains and clouds, representing a prayer for rain. This evocative medium scale design lends poetry and textural pattern to a room.
