With the sun now above the box elder trees that line the banks of Eakin Creek West

The oak trees are right off the path so

the colors of the sunrise begin to appear illuminating the clouds just off in the distance as I come upon this bridge that overlooks the South Fork Kishwaukee River at Wildflower Park

The downy can be distinguished from the hairy by its smaller size and by the black dots on its white tail feathers
