I focused on the individual wildflowers that were close to the trail

The sun was just breaking the horizon and with the forest behind

I set off from the trailhead with camera gear and tripod in hand on this cool summer morning at Wildflower Park

there was so much moisture in the air that my hair was completely drenched

I left the house before 5: am and after photographing the wildflowers for a couple hours, the fog was still about and peaked my interest to find subjects that would help compliment the atmosphere that the fog brought to the landscape. With this type of atmosphere, I like photographing the landscape in black and white.
