This item is clearly stamped G

this is one of the later pattern instruments with "comb" joints and was made at the company's  Hersham works

This bell was recovered from Teignmouth on closure

The case work has a superb high sheen patina and  both flags swing freely

A brass rim holds the front glass onto a copper cone which looks very attractive

This item is well over 100 years old and still has traces of G. W. R. light stone paint.
