As the light and colors fade on this late cool winter evening
about 6 in
I decided to take a look at the bridge over the South Fork Kishwaukee River
These plants can reach heights of 8 feet with the flowers being sunflower like
I came upon these three (one off camera) green herons up in this dead peachleaf willow tree along Eakin Creek West at Wildflower Park
A SOFT LIGHT OF THE CATTAIL GEESE As the light and colorsI had been photographing the wildflowers and sunrise for about forty five minutes now when this scene unfolded. With the sun breaking the horizon just above the box elder trees that line the banks of Eakin Creek West, the morning sun produced a soft light that illuminated this prairie landscape scene with a cattail emerging from the wetland at Wildflower Park.
