October poem』の２冊の原本（ファクシミリ版）に、美術史家のミハイル・ゲールマン（Mikhail Yurievich German）による解説エッセイ「詩人の見える声」（ロシア語 / 英語）を付属した３冊組。人類史上はじめて資本主義から離脱して社会主義の道に踏み出した「十月革命」の70周年を記念して、奇しくもソ連崩壊前夜の1987年に出版された。造本は、両観音開きの内側ポケットに上述の２冊を収納する設計になっている。リシツキーが『Dlja golosa / For the Voice（声のために）』のために世界ではじめてデザインした（と言われている）爪掛け式のインデックスも健在。マヤコフスキーによる13編の詩をもとに、詩とタイポグラフィを同等にあつかう画期的な装幀を試みたリシツキーによると、造本設計のねらいは「大声で読むための本」にすることだった。余談だけれど、『Dlja golosa / For the Voice（声のために）』の編集を担当したリーリャ・ブリークは、マヤコフスキーが36歳でピストル自殺（とされている）するまでに何百通もラブレターをささげた最愛の人で、知人の人妻で、「ロシア・アバンギャルドのミューズ」とも「吸血鬼」とも言われた女性。革命後のロシアでは、自由な愛と女性の力の象徴とされた。
