I started my hike with camera gear and tripod in hand and it wasn't long before I began seeing some of the wildflowers I would be photographing this morning

The forecast this July morning was to be mostly clear with cool temperatures and a mist hovering over the low lying areas

I had been photographing the common loons for a few days and on this particular morning I was hoping one or two of the loons would come closer to the banks of the lake then they had the previous days
